Dancer Update
Krysten Guyton will graduate this year. She will attend Winthrop University in the fall.

Grayson Waataja was accepted into North Carolina Dance Theatre’s summer intensive in Charlotte, NC, American Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive in Winston Salem, North Carolina; and Joffrey Ballet’s performance intensive in New York City. She will attend the Joffrey Ballet program this summer. She received a partial tuition scholarship from Joffrey.

Lucy Russell was accepted into American Ballet Theater’s summer intensive in Irvine, California and Joffrey Ballet’s performance intensive in New York City. She will attend the American Ballet Theater’s California summer intensive.

Caroline Slough was accepted into the South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory’s summer program in Columbia, South Carolina and the and their residential program in Greenville, South Carolina and. She will attend the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities summer dance program.

Sophie Walker was accepted into and will attend the Ballet Conservatory of Asheville’s summer intensive.

Victoria Parker, Katie Crockford, Lily McGinley, and Genna Contino were accepted into, and will attend, the South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory’s summer program in Columbia, South Carolina.

Zeta Cruz will attend Joffrey Ballet’s South Georgia program for young dancers and Joffrey Ballet’s Young Dancer program in New York City this summer.

The following students will attend the ST- Arts dance program this summer at Winthrop University: Kaitlynn Robinson, Ella Hall, Miranda Parker, Lily McGinley, Genna Contino, Julia Breitkreutz, Julia Owens, Sarah Edge, and Eleanor Mixon.

Atlanta Ballet Fest
Krysten Guyton, Grayson Waataja. Corey Drennon and Carolina Slough, senior York County Ballet company members, attended the Atlanta Ballet Fest in March 2012. Krysten, Grayson and Corey performed In-Flexion, which was choreographed by Tina Deese.
